Calentivay: Our Daily Victory
Tell me how you spend your day, and I´ll tell you how you will spend your life.
Have you ever done a checklist with the most important things you would like your day to have? Have you ever thought about your ideal life? Your best moments?
At least up to a point you´ve done so. And if you at least can name more than 5 specific things about your ideal life or day, that´s remarkable. There´s this idea that the future will provide, or that later on in life we´ll catch up.
The reality is that we craft our future brick by brick, day by day. And leaving our future to future bricks that are supposed to be magically built up… is kind of sad and destructive.
Calentivay is the art of accomplishing your daily goals (or goal), it´s about mastering your day. And this idea is full of purpose. Each day we write our future, and we conquer our hills. Well, at least that´s supposed to happen, right?
We want to see each new day as a new opportunity, but we fail to do so. We instead look at each new day and see a probability, but not a must, a dream, but not a reality, a possibility, not a must. Sure, there are a lot of factors to deal with for us to achieve our ideal days, but if we analyze this, we don´t even have a clear picture of what an ideal day looks like for us.
It´s not something as hard as planning out each second of your day. It can be anything that makes you grow as a better human and also helps you make progress toward a meaningful vision.
Some ideal days might have only one goal, and that´s okay. Some others might have several ones, and that´s also fine, the only thing is that the term “ideal” means achieving your purpose for the day, not an empty visualization. There are things that we must do for us to achieve those other things that will bring us fulfillment. Not only happiness but true growth and true energy.
It takes practice, but if you can outline your ideal day, you can direct yourself toward the construction of your ideal life, one filled with purpose, focus, balance, and growth.
Just remember this: to craft your ideal life, you need to start visualizing and acting on your ideal day, but nothing will matter if you don´t even live it because of building it. Then, there´s no point in making that progress.
So, don´t be too harsh on yourself. Do the best you can do, and that will be the best in the end. You´re doing great. Stay firm and walk, one day at a time.
Let me know how your day goes. Make it a good one.

📚 Enjoying the book “12 Rules for Life” by Jordan B. Peterson. It´s been a nice read so far. Had many thought-provoking moments and it promises to deliver more as I continue. I´ll share some of the lessons I take from it on a future life brew.
🎙️ I´ve been listening to the BYTHEWAY podcast, and it´s inspiring for me. I love content creation as well, so I might get a few tips from there. Check it out if you haven´t!
