Do You Have The Exact Formula To Make It All Happen? Turns Out That No…
Letters To A Friend. Collection I.
To @caivannamvar, a creator who´s pushing the boundaries to become one of a kind. Thanks for letting me hop on this amazing journey. Let´s create stories worth sharing, every single day.
Why are we so obsessed with enhancing everything?
When it comes to being a human… there are plenty of reasons as to why we are obsessed with enhancing productivity and life balance. We know that time is our most precious currency, our most valuable asset.
So we fall for the idea of making it an urgent sense of safe-keeping and locating that time towards what matters.
Yet… let me ask you this: a life worth living to you… is a life worth not living?
Sounds kindda crazy, doesn´t it? Let me explain.
Living is not something that happens every day. Or at least not in the sense of going to the supermarket and asking if they still have some “lives” available.
Living is a one-time offer. It´s a dream that you can only remember once.
Meaning: can you plan all of what happens? Absolutely not.
Can you prevent most of what happens? Like heck no.
Can you enjoy and work towards anything that matters? That´s the spirit. You´ve come to the right answer.
The reason we fear losing our time is because put it simply: we don´t have enough time… or do we?
We have time for what matters to us.
That´s the vision and intention behind the truth as to why we optimize everything.
We shouldn´t.
It´s the focus on what´s necessary the one we should aim for.
So, how can we ensure to complete most of what matters without burning our only chance to experience some of the untold stories life has to offer us?
We are talking about lazy productivity: the art of making more with less. Meaning, you don´t need to spend 8 hours working, with two focused blocks of one hour each is more than sufficient to complete your work.
We are talking here about spending less time with a focused energy and mind. Sounds kind of tiring, yet it´s harder to endure the consequences a life of constant burn-out or regrets might bring us.
Lazy productivity is all about being intentional with the moments and structures to which you locate your energy and vision.
You can guide yourself towards meaningful results and still have the time to live your life by your playbook.
Isn´t that worth trying?
Now here´s the best advice I could yell to the world…
Although, despite having the “lazy” approach for work and life optimization, the single best way to ensure you are doing everything that counts and really channeling progress, is by asking the why behind everything.
You could have the most ambitious plans, you could have the greatest of intentions, and vision, or even could think about the best of solutions and actions…
Yet we need to face the fact that “best” doesn´t always mean “right”.
You can do what´s best for you, yet it can not be the “right” thing for you.
Let´s imagine you are willing to start cultivating your skills and abilities to grow a million-dollar-worth mindset.
You won´t get too far if you start time-blocking every single one of your hours or start engaging in the same routines and activities the people you admire do.
They are on another level because they have put in the work required. You are starting. Your path differs, your vision might not, but it´s not your time. Ask then the why behind the actions you are taking.
Are you taking them because you know you need them to be available to pass to the next level?
Or are you taking them because they seem the “best” thing to achieve the top-tier stage?
Start asking why and all of a sudden, clarity will strike.
Thanks for reading the letter,
Alex

The idea of 'lazy productivity' is intriguing and aligns with my principle of working smarter, not harder. Focusing on what's necessary, being intentional with our time, and having moments of rest can lead to a more fulfilling life. We don't need to work endless hours to achieve our goals.
🙏🙏 Incredible work Alex! The content and newsletter are the best out there! Can't wait to see it thrive more!
