On gratitude, humility, and life journey
A series of reflections that can warm-up a whole world.
How much time have you passed without feeling any sense of gratitude? Did waking up feel like a gift? A burden? A routine? Saying “thanks” from time to time is not easy, especially if we consider our busy schedules, our several life issues, and our sense of entitlement towards our reality.
Little do you know the power that comes with these few words: I'm grateful. These words form a beautiful chorus for our ears to hear. They can lift a grayish day, they can make us carry on despite the storm.
These words state a desire for developing good connections, they are a reminder that we can't walk down a path of greatness, but a path of imperfect dreams built upon a greater meaning.
And for us to realize and share this thinking, we must appeal to a humble mindset, a key piece for genuinely living a life of synergy and purpose. It may feel like magic once we understand its core message.
Life doesn’t always take us through easy roads: if we could choose, we wouldn't choose those steps, but in the end, we fall in love with the journey after we've crossed the mountains that were meant to emerge.
The act of reconciling with our failures is in fact a sign of fortitude, rather than the shared vision of lacking strength. There´s no better way to improve than to acquire lessons through little bumps in the road and know they aren´t but only one´s challenge and call.
I´m not telling you that what matters is that you jump at every challenge, that you strike with ferocity towards every rocky mountain so that you can fall and start learning true mastery.
No, my message here is to let you know that true mastery doesn´t exist, and what we should seek is true simplicity. Because there´s no such thing as “simple”. Not if we talk about life lessons.
Bumpy roads uncover for us hard truths, but it is not until we adopt their core message, which most of the time is “simple”, that we value the step back and work on the comeback.
Saying thanks for these teachings is a gift for and of humility; even better, it´s also a reckoning that there´s no need for heroical acts of charity, or praying, or impossible comebacks.
One of the most powerful messages of love, hope, and strength is reconciling with what you are, where you are, and what you will do with that. Be one in truth, and you´ll no longer seek mastery, but deeper meaning, deeper understanding.
I have many motives to say thank you. One of them is for your support, fam. Thank you for following the journey, for believing in me, in my words, in my writing.
Also, I would want to send a special thank you message to my friend
, whose trust I value so much. His content is a true inspiration. I´m thankful for being part of the journey; I´m genuinely grateful for it.I promise I´ll continue learning and sharing value, thoughts, and a vivid adventure. I´m grateful for all. Thank you, dear friend, whose reading these lines, a deep thank you.
The Weekly Update
📜 It´s been a week of highs and lows. But definitely a good one. I redefined my concept of mental peace: being with the order inside the chaos. And this doesn´t apply just to internal chaos, but also to external. This will take time to endure, but it´ll be worth it in the end.
💡 "Health isn´t just your emotions or your physical condition, it´s also what you think, what you say, and how you act.” Reflect on this a second time.
🎙️ Episode #316 with Joshua Fields Millburn on the Danny Miranda Podcast, a masterclass on writing, creating, and just living a minimal life. Joshua is such a talented player on his field, definitely give the pod a hear!
