The Harder The Ego, The Harder The Fall
You don´t get to win until you lose yourself to failure.
In today´s entrepreneurial era, the concept of being the best at hiring the smartest and most capable people in the room has made a lot of noise in the industry.
People crave to be the best. And they want the absolute best to be on their side of things, building and creating things for the better.
What this has led to is more and more people to fear choosing the bad decision, and making a change because of it.
Hiring the wrong people, or making deals that endanger you more than they benefit you in the first place.
We don´t like to be wrong about any decision we take, don´t we? Being wrong does more than make us feel awkward.
It makes us feel endangered, it makes us feel like we are not visionary or capable enough to build.
Like we aren´t able to do the right thing.
Let me tell you this: you don´t know what the right thing looks like unless you´ve tried the bad one.
In other words: don´t be afraid of you committing mistakes. As cliché as it sounds.
Mistakes are your gateway to success in any area. Even big mistakes teach us a lesson.
That´s why when Gary Vee goes on stage and gets asked this question: How do I get better at hiring?
Immediately he tells: you don´t.
You don´t focus on getting your desirable skill at its best without centering on the flaws it could take.
You get better at firing, and you´ll get better at hiring.
You get better at choosing what´s not working and you´ll get better at knowing what does.
That´s the power of observing the flaws in any of your systems. But be careful. Too much of this and you´ll be doomed.
The best solution to this is knowing when to let go of your fear of being wrong and do better.
Because if you don´t let go of that feeling, worse things are at stake.
The fear of being wrong and not accepting nor acting on it in time is way more perilous and costly than accepting you were wrong in the first place.
Your ego doesn´t matter anymore, what matters is your capability to construct great success.
Be okay with change. Be okay with embracing your failures.
No one achieves greatness without acknowledging their failures and weaknesses.
“If your ambitions for your business are higher than your ambitions for yourself, you´ll succeed.” - Ben Francis, Gym Shark´s CEO.
Learn to detach from ego and expectations, and claim your victory by acknowledging those times when you were wrong.
A fruitful leader will opt to move on and progress. Rather sink and peril for conserving their winning status.
So, fire those doubts, and start hiring more useful thoughts.
You don´t need to be the best at hiring your ideal opportunities.
Those will come when you learn to discern the ones that aren´t good enough for you.
⤴️ The Weekly Update
📚 Become the aid for others´ problems. Many of us want to achieve a degree of freedom. Of control over our work-life balance. And we start this entrepreneurship path, lacking one BIG idea: which problems I´m I solving?
We need to be honest about this: if we provide the right value, the right doors will open.
We want to be of help and interest if we want to achieve a higher goal, project, or success measure.
💡 Art is the highest form of hope. That´s the sole purpose of films, songs, essays, and stories: to captivate our inner senses.
To flourish a re-newed thinking about the world around us. We should aim to develop any of our activities into a form of art.
That´ll help us find more joy and meaning further down the line.
🎙️ What´s the best reflection about success that you’ve been told?

There is no failing, only lessons. It’s best to fail fast and learn fast. ❤️ take breaks though and do not lose touch with what’s true to your inner self. Come out and work from your center and make each act an offering, we are so attached to the egos image that it’s so tragic when we fail but in truth it is no big deal at all. It is just learning. ❤️
