On Reconstruction
“Our technologies are racing ahead but many of our skills and organizations are lagging behind.”
This concept of a new “Restructuring” has been a compromising thought in my head lately. With all the advancements in technology, A.I. is completely changing the way we approach human interaction, productivity, work, and heck, even social life.
Our biggest concern is not how we are going to change this course, but how are we going to deal with it. Cal Newport in his book, Deep Work, launched in 2016, talks about the imminent reorganization of the working systems, leading to such profound changes, that his concept of “depth” would be a fundamental and rare skill in society. And oh boy, has it come to the predicted era.
On Walking
There are a lot of benefits to taking a 10-minute walk outside nature. Especially if you´ve been caught lacking the needed energy or concentration.
I have experienced the benefits:
Increased sense of focus
Renewal of spirit
Deeper mind presence.
Spikes of serotonin
So, go take a walk today in the evening or make it a habit to do so every morning. You can even try making your feet comfortable on the floor for as little as 5 minutes. Give it a try, and I´ll promise you´ll feel better.
On Complicated Things
Why do we make things appear bigger than they are?
Our fears, our excitement, our dreams, our whole reality: we are artists that make them look beautiful or worse-case scenarios.
If you could be true to the things life presents you, what would change? Would feel lighter? Even happier?
