15.12.24
These past few weeks have been rough.
Most of us can experience this “exhaustion” cycle.
We can see everything in black and white, bad and good, correct, and incorrect.
Truth and social alignments are also a dot on the list.
And they are complicated. But just to our eyes.
We make them complicated, the same way we complicate our thoughts, our actions, our systems, our plans.
If something goes bad, we instantly start looking for the right measurement, for the culprit, for a precise solution, for an argument… for proof.
Things may add up, but what in reality would help is just care for the core problem itself: how can we make things better? Not how did the problems occur?
In any human relationship, it´s the same thing.
We should not be looking for culprits, we should not be looking for questionings, doubts, or explanations.
We should be looking for praying better, for showing better.
And the argument is now: how do we know what´s better?
Silence? Proof? Distance? Truth?
Why do we care for a past full of guilt, of unquestioned actions?
Why can´t we take what is and start molding from it?
And we should take into consideration that the present condition generated from a previous story doesn´t open the debate for repeating the same events, the same feelings. They have changed too!
Why is it so hard for us to deconstruct the abstract into simple steps?
Do you want to tell somebody how disconnected you feel without them?
Say it.
Do you want to send that text message to that important person in your life?
Send it.
Do you want to walk outside your comfort zone and expand it?
Go ahead, the floor is yours.
I know this implies lots of preparation, courage, mindset, soul bravado, and the list can go on for so long.
But what would happen if that simple action isn´t judged, isn´t hesitated, just done? And done for the sake of construction rather than destruction?
I may ask you for impossibilities, I may ask you for hard times: but I´m not telling you should do the difficult things.
You should aim to simplify them.
As the difficulty almost 99% of the time, is just in our heads.
Simplicity is the truest alignment with our thoughts and actions.
Complexity is the fear of being honest with our motivations.
I encourage you to discover this for yourself.
See how many things in your life could change if you took the fear out, the bold assumptions out, and speak with truth, with simple but profound meaning.
How would it go?
Peace,
- Alex
