📚 How have you spent your weekend lately? Send me an email to AVWriting1@gmail.com with a topic you´d love to discuss! We can talk about it in the next Life Brew =) Would love to hear new ideas. Sharing and learning =)
On the games we play
What game are you playing? Do you really need to win in that game? Is that your right mountain?
It´s always difficult to outline whether we are walking through the right path or not. It´s tempting to feel insecure or fall into the trap of constant disapproval, trying to perfect every action taken.
Every journey we decide to start will have its ups and downs. Every situation we have to face will have its fair and unjust decisions. Here´s how you know which course you want to take in that journey: what are the sacrifices you are willing to take?
Life is all about taking any given options and leaving others untaken. So, the only indicator if the thing you are doing is the right for you, is knowing which weight you are willing to carry up to the “imaginary” finish line.
On self-accountability
You know when you are lying to yourself.
You know when you are just making excuses, when you are too harsh or too soft with the thoughts and actions you embrace.
Time will only change you if you are willing to accept those truths and get up to actually do something about it.
Will you continue to neglect the things you deeply know are true? The things you know you should be doing? The people you know you should be forgiving or leaving? The training you must endure to achieve a better human quality?
Be afraid not to guide your mind and soul through this.
On perfecting the imperfect
We´ve all heard, at least once, about the term perfectionism, and subconsciously reject this concept, maybe viewing it as problem, when in reality, perfectionism, if used correctly, can lead to great results.
Perfectionism is a tool, an ability, not a must-trait inherit to us.
Stop limiting yourself, if it’s not useful, be perfect enough to let yourself create beautiful errors.
Perfect can lead to procrastination, balance your toes in this edge friend.
Perfectionism doesn´t lead you to excellence in any field. You are the one making excellence happen.
Ah, just one more thing, if you want to continue improving and nourishing your purpose, your soul, your focus, and overall, your presence of mind, join me and a deep community of learners that aim to construct a life on intention and depth of mindset and heart.
And if you want to support the work I do and spread the value you find in it, share the Life Brew to a friend! Would be totally appreciated =)
We´ll chat later on this week´s life brew, so stay tuned for that. As always…
