The Productivity Bias
We need to accept it: we live in a society that rewards high-productivity environments, practices, and lifestyles. It’s about increasing those numbers right?
This might sound quite understandable, as our value most of the time is aligned to the quantity and quality of processes we can perform and give within a certain time period.
The question now is: how do we enhance our work to reach these levels of high-end outputs without sacrificing so much of ourselves in the process?
Well… there´s this little tip that might help: we have to fall for the right and hard things.
You read it correctly. Doing what matters is often knowing which is the right thing to do, seemingly being the hardest option available. Between progress and “functional” work there´s a huge gap.
Those productivity guru´s, the people you see making each step of the way count… those people know what productivity feels like: they know we have to make a stance towards what matters.
They are people that have no excuses to put in the work.
Smart, relentless work.
Those people didn´t have the “expert” tag since they were born. They paid for it with their own commitment and training.
The secret sauce behind productivity is learning and acting, it is being productive. As little as it takes, as hard as it gets, you need to put in the time, practice, energy, and commitment. That´s when you´ll see real progress coming its way.

I´m getting things done to once and for all launch the book! Yup, it´s been a while now, but I can finally see the end-line approaching. The date of release is getting near, ad I´d love to see you there. Cheers if you are as hyped as I am!
As a part-time creator, it´s tricky. Sometimes you got the energy left to continue working on the projects, sometimes you simply don´t. But I´m testing out ways to continue the sustainable practice of improvement and creation.
Turning the big tasks into simple actions is simple. Knowing when these actions are headed the right way and meaning is the tricky part. Definitely trying to improve on that.
