your dream life is closer than you think.
Tom Noske has probably given me the key to a meaningful work/living ethic.

Hey,
If you know me at all, you are sure of one thing:
I love learning. I love it so much.
And the best thing is: learning is getting decentralized.
Meaning, you can grab a deep crash course on any specific ability you´d wanna learn or any topic you could be interested on, and learn about it. Master it. Without any cost because you have access to digital access.
PDF´S. Online Courses.
The long-time famous online teacher: Youtube.
Social forums, e-books, free webinars…. heck: even your Instagram or TikTok algorithm might serve you with this purpose.
You got my point: learning is now a passion and skill available to practically anyone around the world who has an internet connection.
Now, a while ago I was reading Tom Noske´s Newsletter (Inspired Insights), and as I was reading it, I almost cried myself out. At least internally.
Why? It wasn´t that Tom wrote something so beautiful it punctured a space in my heart, or that he opened up about any past trauma… it was the fact that the message inside the newsletter… was a message I had neglected for so long.
Being an entrepreneur isn´t joyful 100% of the time. We have to make it joyful.
Now, add that little distinction on top: being a creative entrepreneur.
That means only one thing: you need to think as a business person in terms of growth, metrics, opportunities, etc… and also you need to think as an artist for your craft to be beautifully made and aligned.
I won´t add more fluff here, but you know the drill: it is harder to make this journey 100% joyful.
So, as I was reading Tom´s newsletter, it hit me:
“your dream life is closer than you think.”
Wow. I couldn´t stop looking at those words in front of my screen.
your dream is closer than you think.
I had neglected this truth for a long, long time.
I had neglected it because I had devoted so much time and energy into one side of the craft (the business side)… and had neglected the artist side: aligning my vision and my current living.
As you create your goals for the year ahead, rather than aiming for a dollar amount or follower count, get clear on the kind of life you want to live this year. What do you want to spend your time doing? Who do you want to spend that time with? Where do you want to live? How much do you want to work? So many of us become so fixated on our goals that we never stop to question whether those goals are actually getting us closer to the lives we want to live.
Create a clear vision of where you're going, and the path will become clear. - Tom Noske
It all made me realize I had forgotten my why again: build a meaningful community for passionate learners, creatives, and entrepreneurs who want to thrive in today´s entangled world.
It made me realize how far I´ve come, and all of the amazing projects we´ve done. A book launch, a thriving newsletter community, my ideal brand, and page…
If you can take away one thing from this week´s edition is this:
Be disciplined enough to put in retrospect your work.
Ask why are you doing the things you are doing.
How can you recover the drive to experience and live each thing/goal/step you are currently aiming at?
Your dream is closer than you think.
Damn you are right Tom. It is closer.
Because that dream is being built and is real within us. Every day.
Watch out for that dream of yours. Make it clear enough that you are living it right now, and embrace that fact soon.
Take care friend.
